Livingston On Film
Join us for an evening of film inspired by Livingston from its inception as a new town to some more modern reflections.
Films that will be screened:
Livingston a Plan for Living (1976) - A young family take a look round the new town of Livingston to discover what it has to offer. Provided by National Library of Scotland Moving Image Archive.
Livingston Lives (2010) - A film created to celebrate Livingston at 50 by filmmaker Tomas Sheridan and local residents.
Tales from My Toun (2025) - A new film created by pupils from Inveralmond Community High School and local residents with filmmaker Tomas Sheridan.
Films will be introduced by Emma Peattie, Heritage Manager for West Lothian Council and Tomas Sheridan, Filmmaker who has been working with the pupils at Inveralmond Community High School.
The project has been managed by Reconnect Theatres in partnership with Generation Arts and West Lothian Council’s Museums and Archive Service and supported by Film Hub Scotland.
Supported by Film Hub Scotland, part of the BFI’s Film Audience Network, and funded by Screen Scotland and National Lottery funding from the BFI.
