Access for Visitors

Howden Park Centre's public areas are fully accessible for those with limited mobility.

There are eight parking spaces reserved for blue badge holders.  Facilities include ramps, a lift, three adapted toilets and wheelchair spaces in the auditorium.  Our staff are here to help and happy to do so, please let us know at the time of booking if you have access requirements. Assist dogs are welcome.
 

Hearing Induction Loop

We offer Induction Loop facilities for people with hearing impairments.  For customers with hearing aids there is an Induction Loop at reception, in the theatre and in Space 1.  There are also portable units available at reception for people who are hard of hearing which are usable in the theatre and Space 1.
 

Children & Families 

Booster seats are available in the theatre for children over two years old.  The cafĂ© bar has booster/high chairs, offering plastic plates, cups and cutlery.  There is also a small play area.  Subject to availability, we can provide a discrete room for breast-feeding (if this is required). 

The toilets have nappy bins, steps for the toilets and special fun handwash.  There are baby changing facilities available in 2 toilets and, in case of unexpected emergencies, complimentary nappy bags, nappies and wipes are available from reception.
