Box Office:

The Box Office is open for walk in and telephone enquiries from 11am - 5pm Monday - Wednesday and 2pm - 8pm on a Thursday.  When there is an evening performance on a Friday and Saturday (check What's On for details) it's 2pm - 8pm otherwise it's 11am - 5pm.   

Outwith these times all enquiries being directed to . A member of the team will be in contact as soon as possible. You can check out what shows are available and purchase your tickets via our website too!

Howden Park Centre's auditorium has 300 seats, all offering great views with no restrictions. An  pdf icon Auditorium Seating Plan [249kb] is available to view/download.

How to book online

Click the Buy or Buy Tickets button that are displayed on individual event pages or access the online booking site

Online ticketing is handled by a transaction fee of £2.20 will be applied to each group of tickets bought, (regardless of the number of tickets bought you will only be charged one fee of £2.20). Tickets purchased online will be emailed to you, (this is described as 'Box Office Print@Home' on our ticketing page). Customers must bring and show either a print out of their confirmation or display the confirmation on their smart phone to gain access to the event.

By telephone

The Box Office number is 01506 340700.  There is no charge for making payment by debit or credit card over the phone. If you would like your tickets posted to you there will be a £1 charge.

In person

Drop into Howden Park Centre any time during the advertised hours and buy your tickets, see an exhibition and enjoy a coffee or a meal.

Concession tickets 

Available to senior citizens, children 16 and under, full time students, unwaged, those in receipt of income support, disabled people and their helpers.  Proof of entitlement must be shown when collecting tickets.

West Lothian school groups

Available on selected shows, to organised school and nursery groups that are listed on West Lothian Council's Establishment and Partner Providers lists. If you are unsure if your group is eligible please contact the box office.

Impaired mobility/disability

The auditorium has 4 wheelchair spaces and 10 seats preferred by customers with impaired mobility, please inform us at the time of booking of any requirements.

Children in the auditorium

Children aged 2 and over must have a paid seat booked for them, (under 2's can sit on your knee, for some shows they may also require a paid ticket, please ask at the time of booking). Booster seats are available free of charge. Prams and buggies are not permitted in the auditorium. Baby carriers can be taken in if a seat is booked and paid for to sit the carrier onto.

Drinks in the auditorium

Drinks purchased in the venue are allowed in the auditorium. Drinks must be in plastic cups which we will provide. Please note No hot drinks are allowed in the auditorium.

Late for the show? 

We regret that if you arrive late for some shows you may have to wait until a suitable break in the performance, occasionally until the interval, before you can take your seat.

Access all areas

Howden Park Centre's public areas are fully accessible for those with limited mobility.  Facilities include ramps, a lift, adapted toilets and auditorium seating.  Our staff are here to help and happy to do so, please let us know at the time of booking if you have access requirements. Assist dogs are welcome.

Refund policy 

Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless a performance or workshop is cancelled.  If the event has sold out and we have a waiting list, we will try to find someone to buy your tickets, if you let us know in advance that you cannot attend. 


1.  Tickets will not be exchanged or money refunded.
2.  Latecomers may have to wait until a suitable break in the performance.
3.  The programme may be amended without notice.
4.  West Lothian Council reserves the right to refuse entry and to cancel or abandon the performance/event for reason beyond its control without notice and with no liability to pay any person compensation.

Gift Vouchers:
1.  Gift Vouchers feature a unique ID code and will not be exchanged for cash or replaced if lost or stolen.
2.  If the full value of the voucher is not used in one transaction no cash will be refunded but a credit voucher issued.
3.  Gift vouchers must be presented at Howden Park Centre box office when collecting tickets or gift.
4.  Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
